Liz Su, global equity analyst/emerging markets at Boston Common Asset Managment said ESG factors are even more important when investing in emerging markets because of the inherent volatility of the asset class.
“There is more potential to add alpha through ESG research and engagement,” she said. “It’s more an alpha factor in emerging markets than just a risk factor.”
