Human rights reporting is easier said than done.

There can be no one-size-fits all approach as different human rights issues are financially material to different companies, and issues can vary depending on what each company does, with whom and where. Especially when operations are global with complex supply chains. So for several years many companies have chosen not to report on human rights performance citing a lack of adequate guidance to help them report in an appropriate way.
