The UN COP28 climate meeting takes place in Dubai from November 30 to December 12, 2023.
Boston, MA: Sustainable investment firm Boston Common AM thrilled to announce that Lauren Compere, Managing Director, Head of Stewardship & Engagement has been invited to speak at COP28—The annual United Nations (UN) climate summit. COP28 will bring together global leaders to discuss climate change and limiting emissions. The summit takes place in Dubai from 30 November until 12 December 2023.

The discussion will cover gaps and opportunities to ensure the Paris Agreement remains relevant and consequential to the private sector.

The Food Foundation: Food and Climate
Compere will speak about the investor role in transforming the food system using data. Topics will include health and the food system, access to and affordability of healthy foods, and food company marketing and lobbying practices.
Compere is a climate finance expert. She was part of the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials Core Team, which developed a global standard for carbon accounting in 2020.
