As an equity analyst, Abbott has covered the consumer discretionary, materials and industrials sectors for Boston Common over the last decade. He coordinates research for Boston Common’s impact investment products. He has a long experience with ESG-integrated investing, formerly working in equity research for Winslow Green with a particular focus on consumer solutions companies. Abbott was also a consultant at Bain & Company and worked as a consumer research analyst for Essex Investment Management. He started his investment career as consumer analyst in Hong Kong for HSBC.

Outside of work, Abbott is a founding board member of Mill Cities Community Investments, a CFDI focused on closing the wealth gap of black and brown communities in the Commonwealth. Abbott also helps manage Allandale, Boston’s oldest sustainable farm.

Abbott holds the CFA designation and earned an MBA from Northwestern University and AB magna cum laude from Harvard College.
