Inspired by Boston Common’s authentic approach to sustainable investing, Amy joined Boston Common in 2022 as Director of U.S. Shareholder Engagement. She brings nearly two decades of ESG expertise to BCAM, where she now divides her time between engagement and ESG research with a focus on the Consumer Discretionary sector. She is passionate about working with the team to lift multi-stakeholder perspectives, invest in ESG leaders, and engage with companies to encourage them to toward a more sustainable world.

Prior to joining Boston Common, Amy spent nine years at the Heron Foundation, most recently as the Director of Integrated Capitals and Investments, where she worked closely with outside ESG research providers to manage the U.S. Community Investing Index (USCII). She likewise worked with partners to understand the impacts of capital markets on U.S. communities. Amy also worked as a research analyst at Rogerscasey and helped grow the firm’s manager research capabilities in sustainable and responsible investing.

Amy holds a BA in Business Finance and Community Development from Portland State University and a MS in International Affairs from The New School for Public Engagement. Amy lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children. On nights and weekends, you will find Amy listening to music, visiting Brooklyn’s parks, and exploring the great outdoors with her family.
