As a Senior Performance & Risk Reporting Manager, David brings over 25 years of experience working in investment and GIPS© performance to Boston Common. David spent eleven years supervising the performance team at Eaton Vance and then at Morgan Stanley after its acquisition. While there, he managed the Calvert GIPS© firm transition, which sparked his interest in responsible investing. For the previous twelve years, he served in various roles in performance, operations, and compliance for Essex Investment Management. He also worked for BNY Mellon early in his career.

David earned his MBA from Suffolk University and his BS in Finance and Marketing from Boston College. He holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) designation from the CFA Institute.

Outside the office, David is an avid long-distance runner and has run several marathons. He volunteers as a youth soccer coach for his daughter’s team and enjoys relaxing at Long Lake in Maine with his wife, three children, and golden doodle.
