As an associate on Boston Common’s investment team, Jonathan helps cover the global industrial and technology sectors. He transitioned to research from the firm’s client service team in 2021, the same year he achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Jonathan developed a passion for ESG-related issues in high school, where he focused a senior project on women’s rights in Bangladesh. He and his classmates traveled to the country, where they were inspired to encourage their school to raise money for women’s education and job opportunities for citizens with disabilities.

Jonathan moved from Sweden to the Bay Area after college and started his investment career at Farallon Capital Management. He also interned for the Chief Financial Officer of Silicon Valley’s YMCA. He received a BS in Business Administration with a focus in Management Accounting from Stockholm University. Outside the office, Jonathan enjoys tennis and strategic board games, small-scale household renovations, and spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
