Julie Cobis

Julie Cobis serves as a relationship manager, largely focusing on Boston Common’s institutional clients and their advisors. Her nearly 20 years of experience in client service span the globe. She has worked with institutional investors, including government and corporate pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, and financial intermediaries, while supporting relationships with their consultants. Julie focuses on building strong relationships with clients, ensuring their beliefs and priorities are shared with the firm.

Prior to joining Boston Common, Julie served as a Senior Relationship Manager at Boston-based quantitative investment firm, PanAgora Asset Management, where she spent over a decade working with the firm’s European clientele. In addition to servicing clients’ sustainability regulations and reporting needs, Julie pioneered and supported firm-wide sustainability initiatives, including launching the firm’s first Sustainability Committee and co-chairing their employee resource group. Early in her career, Julie worked as a Senior Data Analyst at Putnam Investments, within their Global Operations team.

After moving to Boston from her home state of Pennsylvania, Julie attended Boston University and earned a degree in Communications. Julie enjoys reading, cooking, and volunteering to support the youth of her community as a board member for the parent-teacher organization and the Freetown Lakeville Basketball Club.
