Lei brings over a dozen years of global and emerging markets equity research experience to Boston Common. As an equity sector specialist, she focuses her research primarily on technology companies.
Prior to joining Boston Common, Lei was a senior analyst at BNP Paribas Investment Partners, where she covered the technology and consumer sectors, as well developing Asia for the emerging markets equity team. She also managed the Asia consumer sleeve for the asset allocation team. As an investment associate at Fortis Investments from 2005 to 2007, Lei worked in Japan and Hong Kong covering local Asian equities. Before attending graduate school in the US, she spent time at Zhenjiang Bohong Investment Consulting Company researching the China A-shares market.
Lei received her BS in International Finance and MS in Economics from China’s Zhejiang University and her MA in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University.
