Matt is a Portfolio Manager for BCAM’s U.S. Core Equity Strategy. His research coverage includes the utilities sector, including companies that facilitate low-carbon transition. Matt spent his first seven years at the firm on the client service team.
Prior to joining BCAM, Matt worked in Costa Rica as a Peace Corps volunteer, where he discovered a deep interest in the complexities of sustainable development while collaborating with local women’s groups and helping to establish small community banks. He also spent time in Costa Rica’s hospitality industry, working alongside employees and hotel owners to improve the positive environmental and community impact of their operations.
Matt graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College in 2007 with a double major in International Politics & Economics and Italian. He is a CFA® charterholder. Outside of work, Matt enjoys chasing after his three young daughters, whether on the soccer field, hockey rink, or ski mountain, taking on increasingly ambitious carpentry projects with his wife, and trying to grow as many fruits and vegetables as possible in his front yard.
