As the firm’s Chief Financial Officer, Nancy brings more than 20 years of diverse investment experience to Boston Common. In addition to managing the firm’s financial processes, she contributes to investment discussions and has been instrumental in creating the ownership structure and financing mechanism that allowed the firm to remain majority employee owned.

Before joining Boston Common, Nancy was an analyst and co-portfolio manager for a large investment firm in the Midwest, primarily covering the technology and communications sectors; she ultimately become a managing director there. While working on Wall Street earlier in her career, Nancy was voted an Institutional Investor All-America Research Team runner-up in two financial services categories. Nancy also gained experience managing a broad range of investments for a significant family office in Illinois, including structuring and negotiating real estate and private equity transactions and overseeing outside investment managers.

Nancy received her MBA from Harvard University and her BA with honors from Swarthmore College. She has previous public service experience as an elected trustee and finance chair for a village in Illinois and was the finance chair for the board of her synagogue.
