Willow is a member of the shareholder advocacy and ESG research teams at Boston Common. She works to drive impact across the value chain of Boston Common’s portfolio companies, with experience engaging on a broad range of issue areas (from refrigerants to board diversity), across sectors and markets. On the ESG Research side, Willow contributes to team level process improvements and conducts environmental, social, and governance analysis on Boston Common’s portfolio and investment universe companies with a focus on the Financials and Industrials sectors. Due to the nature of her cross functional position, she plays a key role in implementing ESG integrations across the firm. Willow is also responsible for firm-level sustainability initiatives that help align Boston Common’s mission with its actions.
Willow believes the fight to protect people and the planet are deeply intertwined and is driven by a hopeful vision of a more sustainable and equitable future. Outside of work, she is often exercising outdoors (no matter the season) or diving into one of her many hobbies, including fiber arts, literature, and cooking. Willow received her BS in Environmental Science from Dickinson College and joined Boston Common following graduation.
