Washington, D.C. – Lauren Compere participated in the White House Convening on Food Marketing to Children, hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign, which focuses on addressing childhood obesity. This gathering brought together experts and thought leaders to discuss opportunities and barriers to advancing progress on this critical link to childhood obesity. Two breakout sessions focused on how to continue to make progress in reducing marketing of unhealthy food to kids as well as strategies for shifting tactics for marketing healthier choices.
